WorldMadeChannel is a unique television project broadcasting under UN auspices that enables the viewers to contribute to programme format.

WorldMadeChannel is based on user-generated content. Thanks to that every viewer have possibility of sending his own video or pictures. These materials are next chosen and drawn up by the professionals who prepare videos with specially selected music.

Unlike the other existing channels WorldMadeChannel needs no translation since all its content is broadcasted without any titles or dialogues.

The channel?s program schedule is equally one-of-a-kind. Instead of conventional texts we use progaram-denoting images here

Each program features the names of its makers with the airtimes shown in UTC to underscore the channel?s international character.

United Nations Program
On Maz 5, 2005 the United Nations Organization and WorldMadeChannel signed an agreement on production and distribution of a TV program in 6 official UN languages.

WorldMadeChannel broadcasts 10-minute programs in 6 official UN languages, aiming to educate and inform general public about the United Nations, its policies and purposes, education programs, projects and initiatives.

Programming strategy
The channel?s round-the-clock broadcasts consist of 15-minute storied features.

Each frame bears the author?s name and the flag of the country he comes from.

Each program is thus made by several viewers who send in thei materials, all resulting in an amazing and, at the same time, simple kaleidoscope of everyday moments lived by people in various parts of the globe.

Participation details
Anyone wishing to see his or her materials shown on WorldMadeChannel should log on website and fill out an application form.. This done, you can send your photos and videos either by regular mail or via Internet.

Each viewer then receives personal notification on our website about when exactly his or her materials are going to be aired.

Each person participating in the project receives in the mail a colourful Certificate of Appreciation, together with a UN leaflet (in all 6 offical UN languages), flag and sticker.
